"...Good design is also experienced not just seen..."*
Having worked primarily in the digital for all my professional life, I've had tenures with
OrangeTheory Fitness, The Home Depot, World Fuel Services, Varec - a Leidos Company, Delta Vacations
(United Vacations, Aeromexico Vacations), AT&T, AT&T Interactive/YP, and others, and I have been
fortunate to have had an impact each of the companies. My happy places are spaces where I get to solve
problems, collaborate and jam with others, and delight users with elegantly simple solutions. Most
recently, I served as Senior UX Designer at OrangeTheory Fitness, focused on the mobile app and other
digital platforms. I was improving the member's experience and evolving the OTF app to add
"MoreLife" value to users.
As a service-minded individual, I've volunteered with
several community-based organizations and non-profit groups at varying levels, including the Boybutante AIDS Foundation, the Atlanta Pride Committee, the Hotlanta Roundup LGBT recovery events, and Positive Impact Health Centers, to name just a few. This commitment to service earned me the Presidential Volunteer Service Award—Gold Level
in 2011. I am also a recovering artist and helped direct and lead my artist collective, the US Group, in our effort put on a 25th-anniversary show in 2017.
A little more about me: I am a
movie nerd/snob, bike rider, spartan racer, an avid late-in-life softball/kickball/volleyball jock (?),
gun-toting, anime fan who loves dancing into the nights, and anything that gets my blood moving and
sweat pouring. A native of Athens, GA, and a travel lover, I now reside in downtown Atlanta GA after
stints in London, LA/Hollywood, Berlin, and Madrid. (Ask me about the time my luggage got lost!)
